About the Book

Abby Palmer spends her summer studying, babysitting her neighbors’ kids, and enjoying Caprese sandwiches. She had a normal life just like any other kid her age, but she has always felt like something was missing…and not just her dad, who was proclaimed dead two years ago. Something…magical.

One day, Abby has a strange dream about a magical world called Happily Ever After Land (H.E.A.L.) , and receives a prophecy that the very same Evil Queen who tried to kill Snow White is on the rise—even crueler and ruthless than before—and Abby’s been chosen to stop her. Of course, Abby thinks it’s just a dream. But what she doesn’t know is that sometimes dreams can be real…and soon, she can’t deny that the fairy tale world is real.

Then Abby’s mother mysteriously disappears through the portal, she follows her and ends up in the world of H.E.A.L, where she finds magic, adventure, and unexpected friendships. Jill—the girl who pushes people in fountains. Jadeine—a woman who’s been trapped in a forest for 5 years. Tiger—a village girl hiding a big secret. Apple—a prince with a big heart. Cherry—a bratty princess. With her friends, Abby sets out on an adventure to collect the relics and defeat the Evil Queen.

But along the way, Abby faces betrayals, twists, and the scariest thing of all…the truth. Can Abby stop the Evil Queen…before it’s too late? Or will H.E.A.L. perish?
